Engaged is run by two Winnipeg female entrepreneurs who are dominating the Wedding Industry. Both ladies have years of experience running event companies that are successful, well respected and profitable.


They’ve each been featured multiple times by some of the industry's leading blogs such The Perfect Palette, Knotsvilla and Bespoke Bride to name a few.

 
 
 

Tricia is the lead planner and owner of Tricia Bachewich Events. She started working in the wedding industry in 2001. She absolutely loves weddings, following trends, listening to ceremonies and speeches, and seeing the brides on their wedding day. 

In 2007 after graduating from university with a Counselling Degree, she set off to Vancouver to work with troubled youth and victims of substance abuse. A few months into living in Vancouver, she accepted a position at a large upscale wedding facility and spent 2 years coordinating weddings for up to 700 guests.  In 2016 she received her wedding planning certification through WPIC and became a licensed marriage commissioner.

When she is not creating a timeline, coordinating a rehearsal or bustling a dress at a wedding, you can find her sipping on Starbucks or gardening with her husband of over 14 years or spending time with her kiddos.

Tricia Bachewich Events has worked with clients that have budgets of $20,000-$100,000+.  She is creative, knowledgeable, personable and professional.

  • My first “real” job (aside from a paper route) was as a banquet server at a Country Club.

  • I have a love for travel, one of my most recent trips included driving 3000km across North America.

  • I spend my free time gardening and tending to my dozens of plants.

Named Top 3 Planners in Winnipeg, Melanie Parent Events is one of the leading experts in the wedding industry. Having done weddings with budgets of $25,000 – $100,000 Melanie and her team have the knowledge, experience and professional approach necessary to make your event a reality.

Melanie Parent Events was created when Melanie decided to put her passion for creativity, organization, and design into one industry. Melanie is a certified Wedding Planner through the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada (WPIC). She also has her Certificate in Human Resources and Volunteer Management. In addition to her certifications, Melanie has been part of the hospitality industry for close to 10 years.

The Melanie Parent Events team is continuously growing, learning and expanding their skills and vision.
