The Importance of Hiring Credible Vendors
One of the main motivations behind creating Engaged WPG was to be able to provide couples with honest & reliable information and recommendations to eliminate stress while planning their wedding days. As such, we have created a list of vendors that you can easily see & access for free. These are vendors that we have worked with personally.

Here are 3 tips for choosing vendors:
1- Ensure that you are signing a contract and paying a retainer. This will solidify you in their books, and it will also give both parties a concrete layout of what services are included in the fee. A contract should also include payment dates, contact information, postponement information and policies as well as any additional fees that may apply.
2- Check referrals, references or testimonials. Be sure that you are doing your research to choose the correct vendor for the job. What do the testimonials say? How do you feel communicating with them? Do they suit the style & vision that you want to capture on the wedding day? No matter what, you will be spending a lot of time with them on the wedding day so you need to be sure that your personalities mesh well.
3- Browse Social Media. While we know that social media isn’t the be all & end all of finding your vendors, it will give you a bit more insight on the vendors you are considering. The websites & contact forms will be flawless but the social feeds are the recent work. Does this still resonate with you? Do they post frequently? Are they still in business? Are they posting their own work, or simply re-posting other’s work? What type of vendors are they constantly working with and do they fit within your style & vision?
There are lots of factors to consider when choosing your vendor team, but above all, we want to be sure you are hiring dedicated, professionals that will show up and go above and beyond for you on the wedding day.
